I was delighted to be commissioned to illustrate a children’s book centred on Euronics’ social media character, Indie. The story follows Indie as he sets out in search of excitement beyond his quiet, monochrome world. His journey begins at a fisherman’s boat, where a mischievous encounter with a bucket of sardines sparks the start of an unexpected friendship. Invited to return home, Indie becomes part of the Euronics family, forming a special bond with a young girl who introduces him to the colour, energy, and charm of seaside life in Somewhere by the Sea.

Through playful adventures at the harbour, on the ice, and at the fair, Indie discovers joy, belonging, and the thrill of new experiences. The narrative celebrates curiosity, friendship, and the feeling of finding a place where you truly fit — leaving Indie dreaming of all the adventures still to come.
